Less than a week to the Planning Board Election: a final push in the days ahead
Dear friends,
We have less than a week to go!
Monday, March 2 is Election Day and I am so grateful for your support along this journey.
Polls will be open 7am to 8pm and you can find your polling place and information on absentee ballots here.
We are working hard, canvassing door to door (when it's not blizzard conditions!), hosting zooms and coffees, answering questions, and meeting voters.
Lawn signs, outreach, and get-out-the-vote efforts are expensive. If you are able to, making a donation in any amount is so appreciated: $50, $100, or more! It all helps defray the cost of running a hotly contested election. Please donate here.
And to those of you who have given already, my deepest gratitude. We never could have had the impact we have had without your support.
Another wonderful way to help is to continue spreading the word. Reaching out to your community is the very best way to raise awareness of the campaign and my priorities of economic development to reduce the residential tax burden, housing affordability, applying the best design principles to new developments, and using zoning regulation to moderate the effects of climate change.
I would encourage you to share:
- the link to the recording of the League of Women Voters candidates night or the candidate forum hosted by iGiG, Lexington Lyceum, CALex,
- the Lexington Observer article about my candidacy
- opportunities to meet me this week
- an invitation to join me on Zoom, TODAY, Tuesday February 24, 5-6 pm, LINK
Finally, we need volunteers to hold signs next weekend in Lexington Center and at polls on Election Day. Meet your fellow supporters and help us do one last push.
Thank you!
Kunal
