Hope you’re doing well! It’s been a pretty crazy August so far here in north Idaho: lots of heat, a wildfire that’s uncomfortably close, and of course, lots of writing activities. So, let’s hop in.

I have a release date!

The Art of New Beginnings, book 3 in my Ragin’ Moon Refuge series is set to release on October 1st.

After five years in prison for a crime she didn’t commit, 30-year-old Morgan Mayfield is finally free, but the world she knew has vanished. Once a celebrated artist, she now faces scorn as a pariah in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. With only the clothes on her back and a meager $160 to start over, Morgan seeks refuge in Big Pine, MT, where fond childhood memories linger.

Eager to hide her past, she adopts an alias and lands a job at the Big Pine Bar and Grill, where she meets the charming Gio Lascari. Other writing updates

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve teamed up with Vinci-Books, a publisher in the U.K. They’ll be republishing my Huckleberry Ridge Romance series in the coming months to an international audience, including translations into German and several other languages. Super excited to see how it goes. I’ll keep you informed, of course.

What’s Next?

If you’re a fan of my Ragin’ Moon Refuge series, you know that whenever one of the Ragin’ Moon guests asks Colleen Lascari where the refuge got its name or its start, she just smiles and says, ”Oh, that’s a story for another day.” Well, that story is finally going to be told in the Ragin’ Moon Refuge prequel—A Story for Another Day-Frank and Collen’s Story.
