Summer Fare!
Radio Tacoma now carries multiple gardening shows for thumbs of all hues!
Urban Bounty with David Thompson provides a seasonal guide to planting a vegetable garden.
In Gardening from the Ground Up, Marilyn Kimmerling, Pam Beal, and Rodney Hohn share their own garden plans and insights including understanding the soil and the creatures that inhabit our gardens.(Listen to Got Dirt, Get Soil as well!)
Finally, June Hornby and David Raab talk about backyard water features in a recent episode of Radio Tacoma Interviews.
See the Radio Tacoma programming schedule for air times for all of these shows.
Benefit concert follow-up!
The recent benefit concert for Radio Tacoma raised $2100 for the station! We are so grateful to the performing artists who so generously donated their time and talent to make the concert a success. If you missed the event, or even if you were there, you can now listen on our archive to the rock opera about Tacoma by David Fewster & Heidi Fosner, the Folksingers in Hell, and to the delightful and inspiring songs of Steve and Kristi Nebel. Thanks again to these wonderful musicians.
Indivisible:
We also want to welcome Indivisible Tacoma to the Radio Tacoma line up! Their show Indivisible America airs on Thursdays at 7pm and Sundays at 9pm and can also be found on our archive. The latest episode features the protest band Bugs for Change.
If you are interested in working with Radio Tacoma in any capacity, please contact us at [email protected] or send us a message on Facebook. We meet at the studio, located at 950 Broadway in downtown Tacoma, on the third Monday of each month at 2:00pm.
