In June, I had my first studio recording session of my own (I’ve done background vocals before and been in an ensemble cast, but this was the first one for me.)

I scrambled to document the day as best I could, but as some of you may know, there is a time crunch involved, especially with wait listed studio time provided by the city!

They had a beautiful Arturia Astrolab 61 key keyboard. Here, I'm attempting a first take of just the instrumental of Norma Jean after going through its sound bank a bit.

In a completely unexpected turn (for me), Christian and Ludo, librarians at the Medialab offered to track bass & guitar parts! Watching new people jam to my song was an absolutely surreal experience, always has been, always will be. Thanks for catching up with me, I shall see you at the next update!
