quick update: vote for my comic
hey all! it's been quite a while... i know... silly of me to think I could sustain this newsletter while in an intensive grad program. but fear not, i do plan to revive this once I have more time.
now for the NEWS. i've been nominated for an Ignatz! My comic Phonestoned was nominated for Outstanding Minicomic, which is truly such an honor. The Ignatz Awards are hosted by the Small Press Expo, where I will be selling my comics in Bethesda, Maryland next week. Come say hi if you're in the area.
but the reason I'm writing... today is the LAST DAY TO VOTE, you can get a ballot here. I would so appreciate if you would vote for me. I'll get a brick if I win.

In other news, I also started a newsletter with a classmate that sends out a batch of minicomics twice a month. It's called The Gutter and if you enjoy comics, you should give it a subscribe. If you make comics? Please submit. We love all sorts of comics.
I've still got lots of preparation to do for the convention but wanted to send this out quickly.
