Pursuing Clearance

Hello family and friends,

Here are some updates and requests as we have a few deadlines approaching:

  • Please pray that we would receive our medical clearance in March. We are thankful that Jake's bloodwork has all been cleared, and don't expect any other issues.

  • Please pray that we would receive our financial clearance in April. We are waiting for a revised budget from the Japan field, but a conservative estimate puts us at 78% of our financial need!

    • If you are currently giving financially, thank you so much for partnering with us in this way. We would not be able to go to Japan without your support.

    • If you have committed to giving, but have not set it up yet, please take the time to do so here: https://partnerhub.omf.org/JLK1

    • If you are not giving, and have not yet prayed about it, would you please pray about partnering with us financially? We need to be 100% supported by May 6th in order to be considered for the OMF Orientation Course in July. If not July, we would be pushed back to November.

  • Please help connect us with people outside of our network. We would love to visit with your community group, bible study, friends, or church and share about our calling and the need for missionaries in Japan.

  • Please let us know how we can be in prayer for you. We are blessed to know each of you and are so grateful for your prayers. We pray even now that God would encourage you in the work he has laid before you. Your labor is not in vain! (song)

RADICAL recently released this 17 minute video on some of the difficulties in reaching the Japanese. It is well done and a great way to learn more about this beautiful, high priority mission field.

God has gone before us every step of the way and we are confident that he will provide the right partners in his timing. Please enjoy some recent photos of our family below.
