Preparing for Japan

Hello friends and family,
Praise God we recently received financial clearance with our sending agency, which means we can begin preparing for Japan!
We are still waiting for medical clearance, though we do not expect any issues. Please pray that we would receive medical clearance soon!
The Roadmap (Lord willing)
Now: Apply for Visas, figure out what to do with our stuff (sell, store, donate), OMF online training, practice Japanese, misc. other preparation tasks, visit with friends and family.
6/1: Save the date for an open house from 1-4pm in Reynoldsburg, OH. All are welcome! More info will be sent at a later time.
6/9: We are being commissioned at Veritas Community Church. If you regularly attend Veritas, we would love to see you there.
6/29-7/1: Travel to Singapore for our orientation course at OMF Intl. HQ.
7/2-26: Orientation
7/27-29: Travel to the city of Sapporo in Hokkaido, Japan where we will be living, learning, and serving for the next few years.
While we are excited to finally be headed to Japan, it also brings with it the sadness of leaving family and friends. Please pray for us, our kids, and our families that we would spend good quality time together and also be able to process the grief of leaving.
