Praises and Invitation!

We are excited to share some great news with you and invite you to an open house at the beginning of June!
Praises
We are so excited to share that we have received our medical and final clearances to go to Japan! We are praising God for his faithfulness in this season. This morning, as I was reading in Philippians, I was reminded of all of you, our supporters. Paul is finishing his letter to his brothers and sisters in Philippi and remembers their faithfulness in supporting him in his ministry. Paul says, “… I want you to receive a reward for your kindness. At the moment I have all I need- and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.” (Phil 4:17-20)
We are so grateful for your gifts of prayer and finances that have bolstered and encouraged us as we approach Japan. Many of you have provided emotional support and more over the last 6.5 years since we returned from Japan and have been pursuing God’s calling to return as church planters. We are excited to finally see the fulfillment of everyone’s efforts! We are grateful for your partnership as we make this transition. We are happy to say, like Paul, that your gifts are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that are acceptable and pleasing to God. Be encouraged that the same God that takes care of us will also supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which we have received in Christ! May God get all the glory from our efforts and yours.

We would love to see you on June 1st if you can make it. We overflow with gratefulness for each of you and anticipate God’s moving among the Japanese people as we share His glory with them.
Prayer Requests
-As we continue in this season of transition, please pray for everything to go smoothly. We have many things we will be trying to sell, including two vehicles. If you know anyone who is looking for a car or van please let us know! We’re happy to share more details.
-We will be moving out of our apartment in early June and will spend the remaining weeks with our parents. We are looking forward to some sweet time with them. Please pray for all of our hearts as we prepare to say goodbye, that we would trust in God’s faithfulness to walk with each of us in this next season.
