Happy new year! I truly means a lot that you guys read this.
I feel like our (kid’s) opinions are not taken into account when talking about the election and politics in general.
When we speak our truth adults just shut us out.
And that was a message I heard from multiple kids.
We want to be heard. We are curious and scared have things to say.
That’s why I asked some of my friends what they thought about Donald Trump becoming president.
In the span of a week, they sent in some voice recordings and I compiled them into a podcast episode.

This newsletter issue is pretty sad/deep but that does not mean all hope is lost!
It is especially important to make connections with people that are kind. Building community is key.
A way to get involved is hosting a gathering with your friends/family. Also you can make signs and/or art that projects a message of hope.
If you want, you can post photos of your art and tag @kidsforjustice.substack.com on Bluesky or email them to kids4justicepowerpod@gmail.com. I’ll include those in the next newsletter.
It will be ok in the end and you are not alone.
You just read issue #19 of Kids For Justice. You can also browse the full archives of this newsletter.
