Reference Preference
I read an Atlantic article where economists on two sides of a debate both reference the same paper and claim the other side is reading it wrong.
How often do you see something like this happen in different places?
We have made sharing so easy and building so abstract that finding new ground truth sounds like too much work, though its easier than ever.
Sometimes its worth it to just put in the work and get the information.
