#58 Best Album of 2000 Tournament: Week #2 Wrap-Up
Hey folks!
The second week of the Best Album of 2000 is now in the history books! Thanks again to everyone who voted and makes this project a success. Once again, every match had at least 100 votes. Furthermore, because of how Google Forms is set up, it’s possible to log in as having voted without picking an album. This happened twice this week, and I’m not 100% sure if the voters forgot to pick an album before submitting, or if they were registering a vote of no confidence, or what. (For the historical record, I must note that, on Bluesky, people were not really thrilled with either Smog’s DONGS OF SEVOTION or Destroyer’s THIEF, and this match had one the fewest of any so far in the tournament.) Anyway, I will be noting these no-show votes and counting them as abstentions in the totals.
Below are last week’s results summarized, and what you can expect to see next week.
