#44 Prediction Brackets Close This Sunday!

Best Album Brackets Logo #2.jpg

Hey folks!

Apologies for my radio silence of late. I have some family stuff I’m dealing with, and part of that is driving back and forth from my home to my mom’s house, which is a ten hour drive. Things are fine, to be clear, but it does make it hard to focus on things.

The title of my prediction bracket for the 2000 tournament. It’s called “Kid B(eeson)."
My prediction bracket title.

That said, we can’t start the Best Album of 2000 Tournament until we close the Prediction Brackets, so let’s put a date on that. This Sunday, August 11th, at 11:59pm CST, the Prediction Brackets will close. If you haven’t made one and would like to, click this link and find the “create a prediction” button. If you started one and haven’t finished, you may want to do that. (NOTE: I’ve heard that if you’ve saved your unfinished bracket, a glitch on the part of Challonge may prevent you from finishing it. In that case, you’ll have to start over. My sincerest apologies if this happened to you!)

So, now the question is: when will the Best Album of 2000 Tournament start? Because of my family situation, I’m hesitant to name an exact date — I don’t want to interrupt the tournament because I have to drive that day. Still, we need something to go on, and that something will be pencilled-in as August 19th. Please be aware that date may get moved further or closer, depending on what’s going on in my life at that moment. Still, let’s say that August will be the month the tournament starts.

Hey! That’s not 2000, that’s 1993!
