#366 The Best Album of 1989, Round 3 Match #107: The Stone Roses vs. Jungle Brothers

Best Album Brackets Logo #2.jpg

Hey folks!

First pic: This is a painting in a Jackson Pollock style, of splatters of white and black paint on a dark green background. On the left are three thick strips of paint, one red, one white, one blue. There are three circular slices of an orange or lemon on the canvas as well. THE STONE ROSES in gold lettering is in the center, and one of those slices forms the O of Roses. Second pic: A colorful drawing of the heads of three young Black men, surrounded by images of the jungle along the bottom (grass, trees, a camel, a lion) and a city skyline above them. Beyond the sklyine is a big purple volcano, erupting. Also above them is a Black fairy-like creature with butterfly wings. Around the edges of the picture are planets.
