#349 The Best Album of 1989, Round 2 Match #94: Fine Young Cannibals vs. Tears for Fears

Best Album Brackets Logo #2.jpg

Hey folks!

First pic: A black and white photo of, one the left, a young Black man, with narrow eyes, slightly pursed lips, and a widow's peak. On the right, two pasty white guys with short hair. Behind the picture are a mass of grey shapes that suggest letters made out of horshoes, but aren't letters or horseshoes. Second pic: An extremely busy photograph of the two members of Tears for Fears with a number of objects superimposed in front of them, while standing in front of a mural on a wall. Tears for Fears are two white men, one with long black hair and one with short black hair. Each one holds a small pole in front of them, with an object attached to the top of it. The first one is a handkerchief, I think? The second one has a small sun shape. The first man is dressed in blue, the second in gold. The objects superimposed in front of them are things like sunflowers, a wooden cube, a wooden sphere, wooden pyramid, blue sunflowers. The mural behind them shows a sun with a human face, that appears to be made of metal, with a blue sky and a mountain range in front of it.

Yesterday, #6 Nirvana, BLEACH defeated #59 Blake Babies, EARWIG, 100-51. Pretty good turnout for EARWIG.

Thanks once again for all your support!
