Hey folks!
The fifteenth match of the Best Album of 2000 Run-Off has concluded and the winner is:
The Apples in Stereo, THE DISCOVERY OF A WORLD INSIDE THE MOONE
THE DISCOVERY OF A WORLD INSIDE THE MOONE defeated Amon Tobin’s SUPERMODIFIED, 37-29. THE DISCOVERY OF A WORLD INSIDE THE MOONE goes to the final match against Modest Mouse’s BUILDING NOTHING OUT OF SOMETHING. The winner of this match will be officially entered into the upcoming Best Album of 2000 tournament! Furthermore, the winner of the Prediction Bracket Contest will be able to enter a qualifying album into the tournament as well.
The final match will be Monday, June 17th, at 9am CST. Afterwards, there will be a three day period where I will ask you to listen to the albums selected by contest winners, if you haven’t already. Then, on Friday June 21st, there will be a parade of all 128 albums in the Best Album of 2000 tournament, followed by official seed voting!
