KENT’S KORNER
I was too old for nu-metal when it came out (as I said on Bluesky, my sense was it was for teenagers), so I’m kind of catching up to it now. And, generally, feel like I didn’t miss out on anything. INFEST is one of the better ones I’ve heard, even if I can’t look at the cover. Just a good collection of hard rock/metal songs, perfectly cromulent, good job Jacoby & co. But SUPERMODIFIED is still, overall, a more varied and interesting and engaging listen.
(Truly surprised that no one went with “Cut My Bracket to Pieces” for a bracket prediction title.)
