#255 The Best Album of 1989, Round 1 Match #18: The Blue Nile vs. Soul II Soul

Best Album Brackets Logo #2.jpg

Hey folks!

First pic: A blue tinted photograph of someone from the back, from the neck up. They are wearing a hat. The lighting turns the figure almost into a silhouette. It's possible the person is a woman with their hair tucked under the hat, but it's impossible to say. On the small of their back is a patch of light that makes a small red crescent shape. Second pic: A yellow-tinted black and white photo of Soul II Soul bandleader Jazzie B, from the waist up. He's a Black man wearing a vest and a necklace with Africa on it. He has dreadlocks, and they're mostly tied up out of is face save for a few strands falling across his face. He is the anti-Don Henley. He appears to be pumping his fist. He looks to the right with a blank expression.
