#246 Best Album of 1989 Tournament: Week #2 Wrap-Up
Hey folks!
First off, my sincerest apologies to anyone and everyone who get their Best Album news from the newsletter, because I forgot to send out the newsletter yesterday for the Mudhoney/Robyn Hitchcock match. This was particularly galling for me, as I had all the week’s newsletters laid out and ready to go, all I had to do was hit send. (Which I did, 80% of the time apparently.) I was extremely, even abnormally, busy yesterday, so I get why it happened, but it’s still frustrating. Anyway! Embarrassing enough that I probably learned my lesson and it won’t happen again. Right?
Anyway, to make up for that, I have a present for you: here is my spreadsheet with the 1989 nomination voting data! (“How is that a present, you said you were going to do that weeks ago.” Shut up.) Hopefully there are no awful mistakes, like whoops Marillion actually had 150 votes, sorry Putnam. Let me know if you have trouble downloading it or any other issue. If you see any major voting discrepancies, please, keep them to yourself.
