#230 The Seed Parade for the Best Album of 1989 is TONIGHT 7PM CST!

My apologies — I originally said that the revelations of the final seeds for the Best Album of 1989 would be tomorrow, but putting them together turned out to be far easier and quicker than I imagined, and I don’t see any reason to wait. If you’re on Bluesky, I will be announcing the seeds, from #128 to #1, at 7pm CST on the Best Album Brackets Bluesky account. If you can’t make it, there will be a follow-up newsletter either late this evening or tomorrow morning.
Furthermore, I will have the Challonge bracket filled out tonight, which means you will be able to fill out a prediction bracket sometime tonight after the parade. The winner of the prediction bracket contest will get to choose an album to enter into the next Best Album tournament, which is likely to cover 2001.
The tournament itself will start on Monday, May 26th, a week from today. I hope you’re as excited as I am!
