I work a lot of freelance roles, most of which involve running theatre and creative writing workshops with children/teenagers/young folk. Sometimes I get a chance to do the exercises alongside them.

The prompt was this: To the Goddess of Botany, which is the title of a Charlotte Smith poem.

Here’s my poem. It was written in about 15 minutes, and hasn’t been edited at all.
