BOOK DEAL ANNOUNCEMENT (YOU HEARD ME RIGHT)
Happy Pride, I'm releasing THREE MORE BOOKS!!!
We’re kicking off Pride Month with a BANG 🥳
How I have managed to keep this cat in the bag for so long, I don’t know.
I am writing this a few days before sending it out to you, as per. Salt of the Lee has just come out and it is colouring everything I write today. A Fix of Light seems to be doing pretty well on both sides of the Atlantic, which is a relief and a half. I’ve been indulging in old favourites (Supernatural, All For The Game) and discovering new ones (I Was A Teenage Exocolonist). Oh, and I’ve been writing my next book, Project H&H.
Prepare yourselves for two more YA novels AND my middle grade debut!!
What can I tell you about these books? Not much. One’s written. One is 70% of a first draft.
The other is percolating nicely, zero words and all vibes, the shadows of characters moving on the horizon.
They’re full of magic and mystery, darkness and light, and love love love (romantic and platonic and familial and all other forms it can take). I think I’m physically incapable of writing books without queer characters with big feelings and/or autism.
I really can’t tell you much more than that, but to celebrate, I have a treat! Here’s a teeny weeny sneak peak of one of the characters from Project H&H with some art I commissioned from Caleb…
This is Elias Mulder, a boy with a silver tongue, a big heart, and TERRIBLE survival instincts. I’m sure nothing bad will happen to him, though, right?

In all seriousness, I am so grateful that I get to continue sharing my stories with the world. Thank you for reading A Fix of Light, thank you for championing queer and trans and autistic voices, thank you for taking a chance on me.
