11 Must-Reads on Menstrual Health

For those of you who don’t know already…I love books.

And I believe that every single book has a piece of our own jigsaw puzzle hidden within it.

A piece of information, a quote, a thought or a link to something else that has the ability to help us grow that little bit more. Something that we didn't even know we needed.

But when we find it, well, it may just have the capacity to change our whole life.

That’s how powerful books are. They help us see the world around us and ourselves in a whole different light.

Which is why I read so much. I’m looking to find the next piece of my jigsaw puzzle. The piece that I didn’t even know was missing.

When I first started studying the menstrual cycle and women’s health, few 'popular' books were out there. Everything was textbook. And although I love a good textbook (especially that smell!) I prefer to read ‘real’ people’s thoughts and feelings about things.

And so I have been so excited these last few years when so many great books on women’s health & the menstrual cycle have been published.

So here are 11 books that I have read. And in doing so, I have discovered a piece of my own jigsaw within each of them.

Remember that not every book will suit everyone (you just need to see the reviews on Goodreads to know that everyone has an opinion and some are just plain nasty).

But I am sure that if getting to know your body, mind, mood and hormones at a deeper level is where you’re at right now, you will definitely find a piece of your own jigsaw in here somewhere.
