First 3 nights - Hull to New Holland
Set off in Hull. Crossed Humber bridge. First decent camp spot is a couple of miles out of Barton upon Humber, past the sailing club. Nice smooth grass verge behind the sea defences. Dog walkers and joggers but no one bothered. Stayed 2 nights in the same spot as bag was too heavy (went back to adjust).
3rd night just past New Holland. Emergency camp spot, bit grim but OK, just had to get out of the wind. The cart passing places on the sea defences look good but the ground is stony and hard under the thin layer of soil/grass - may be OK for a tent that doesn't need pegs, as long as there isn't too much wind.
Seeing some more good looking spots along the sea defence.
