Hi |FNAME|,
Here are some DIY keyboard related posts I thought were worth sharing this week: 1. Ming-Gih Lam updated the Red Herring (https://kbd.news/Red-Herring-solenoid-edition-1315.html) PCB with an on-board solenoid. 2. The Piko 87 (https://kbd.news/Bolt-Industries-Pico-87-1313.html) is an open-source TKL board powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico and BMK, a custom Arduino IDE firmware. 3. SlabV (https://kbd.news/SlabV-1316.html) by brickbots is a 36% keyboard with stacked acrylic construction and full-coverage silicone gaskets. 4. Ho’s FCS42S (https://kbd.news/FCS42S-keyboard-1317.html) is a split keyboard with adjustable per-column offsets and pinky splay. 5. Pylon open-sourced the metal version of his Boston (https://kbd.news/Metal-Boston-1319.html) , a “compact 120% battleship”. 6. Phobokin_Chicken designed and printed a Flipper case (https://kbd.news/Quefrency-Flipper-case-1312.html) for the Quefrency Rev 3. 7. UnexpectedMaker’s TinyS3 (https://kbd.news/TinyS3-controller-1314.html) is a development board featuring the ESP32-S3 controller, and offering both wired and wireless connection. 8. I disassembled a 1983 Orion ADP 2052 terminal (https://kbd.news/Orion-ADP-2052-1318.html) along with its TKI keyboard. As a coincidence, today is its 39th birthday. 9. Muilkinginuk posted a video of the assembly line at TTC(?) manufacturing 100 thousand switches (https://kbd.news/Assembling-100.000-switches-per-day-1320.html) per day. 10. Hydrakey introduces new ceramic keycaps (https://kbd.news/Ceramic-keycaps-1321.html) . 11. Custom dyed (https://kbd.news/Dyed…-everything-1322.html) cable parts maxed out by voxels-box â all to match an artisan.
