Hi |FNAME|,
Here are some DIY keyboard related posts I thought were worth sharing this week: 1. Penkesu (https://kbd.news/Penkesu-deck-1261.html) is a retro-style cyberdeck by penkia with a wide screen and a built-in low-pro ortho keyboard with “dye-sub” MBK caps. 2. Christoph Rehmann’s Buzzard (https://kbd.news/Buzzard-keyboard-1265.html) is a well-documented 40-key split keyboard with splay and trackpoint. 3. Thumbs Up! (https://kbd.news/Unsplit-Thumbs-Up-1266.html) turned into a monoblock by ak66666 â with one more level. 4. MooseChair (https://kbd.news/MooseDash-and-MooseChair-1268.html) â A modified ErgoDash and its armrest-mounted wireless iteration by Ataruno â with extensive documentation. 5. SouthPawEngineer made a set of Raspberry Pi powered keyboards (https://kbd.news/Ergopi-1269.html) â low-profile monoblocks for different tastes. 6. Mariusz Ryndzionek’s CadQuery keyboard case generator (https://kbd.news/CadQuery-case-generator-1270.html) is a set of Python scripts outputting CadQuery files. 7. Anoter project of Ataruno: various keycaps made of leather (https://kbd.news/Leather-keycaps-1264.html) . 8. The Sony Hit-Bit HB-F1XD (https://kbd.news/Sony-Hit-Bit-HB-F1XD-1267.html) is probably the coolest looking home computer ever made. 9. The Osborne Executive (https://kbd.news/Osborne-Executive-1271.html) portable computer was widely blamed for the company’s subsequent bankruptcy â because of bad timing. 10. The Korea Steno Smart CAS Plus (https://kbd.news/Korea-Steno-Smart-CAS-Plus-1263.html) is an authoritative Korean steno machine. 11. The Synx42 (https://kbd.news/Synx42-1262.html) is a clean ultra-low profile ortho split design by @ak1_foo â with Kailh X-switches and only 7.3mm overall height.
