Hi |FNAME|,

Thank you all who tried to help me buy a dinosaur. This month I’m saving up for a unicorn (https://kbd.news/donate) .

And here are the DIY keyboard related posts I thought were worth sharing this time: 1. Strayer released his first keyboard – the Taira (https://kbd.news/Taira-1242.html) . A split low-profile wireless keyboard inspired by the Ergodash and Corne Chocolate. 2. Fellow Redditor scissor_rock_paper finished his custom split PCB design dubbed Ursa Minor (https://kbd.news/Ursa-Minor-keyboard-1243.html) – with constellations on the back. 3. Strange-Lab5541’s fisk (https://kbd.news/Fisk-keyboard-1235.html) is an ergonomic 54-key handwired split keyboard with 3D-printed case. 4. Designed by smores56, the Sephirette (https://kbd.news/Sephirette-keyboard-1236.html) is a cute little split with 34 keys. 5. josandi used MrZealot’s Ergogen to design the beautiful Birdie6 (https://kbd.news/Birdie6-keyboard-1239.html) keyboard, sporting Pseudoku’s porcelain/resin caps. 6. The C-13X (https://kbd.news/C-13X-keyboard-1240.html) is a tiny Alice-like handwired keyboard with an open-source case by flurpyflurples. 7. Kailh Box Mute Jade (https://kbd.news/Kailh-Box-Mute-Jade-switch-review-1247.html) switches reviewed by ThereminGoat and others. 8. Aiming for a quiet mechanical keyboard, pavlokhmel built some cork and foam cases (https://kbd.news/Cork-and-foam-cases-1237.html) . 9. The Crokoboard system (https://kbd.news/Handwire-without-soldering-1245.html) by random_bytes is a set of PCBs that lets you handwire your keyboard without soldering. 10. The Pantofle (https://kbd.news/Pantofle-case-1246.html) is a machined acrylic case by ENDU97 for Sofle PCBs. 11. Sony HitBit (https://kbd.news/Sony-Hitbit-1238.html) – a home computer family from the ’80s and its HB-101 model with kick-ass design language. 12. The Hatsuko Electronics HEKB01 (https://kbd.news/Hatsuko-Electronics-HEKB01-1241.html) aka Data Entry Machine EM986 is a Topre board with an early-mid ’80s layout but actually released in 1995(?). 13. Finally, two board concepts (https://kbd.news/Minimizing-finger-movement-1244.html) by SouthPawEngineer that minimize finger movement using 5-way switches and CircuitPython.
