Check out this week's editorial with awesome projects, tips, ideas, meetups, discount codes, etc!

Hey y'all,

Here are some of the posts I thought were worth sharing this time:

Building MoeeTech's Glitter65 R1

  1. I've been building and testing two Glitter65s by MoeeTech. A pretty unique keyboard kit with a distinctive appearance: thanks to the seamless aluminum case and drawer structure. In addition: USB hub, card reader, cool bag. Extras from the GB now starting at $111 (30% off, code: KBDNEWS).

  2. Mike Hölscher writes about his still WIP but already mouth-watering unibody split called mikefive. A super-thin (5mm) keyboard built around Kailh's PG1316S notebook switches.

  3. Sinisha Stojchevski's PHNX is a cool unibody split with on-board MCU.

  4. A split ortholinear keyboard - another one with on-board controller: PICCTRL - 0xLM by Lluis Merlos Pieri.
  5. Mikey Sklar shared a wireless one-handed keyboard with Morse code as input method.
  6. Kea Workshop's Claude published his Seagull macropad - with MX/Choc support and nice exposed diode cluster.
  7. As announced by Lowpro.ca, Ambients Silents, truly quiet Choc switches redesigned from the ground up, are in stock now.
  8. Hemal Chevli made a macropad with screen and encoder to switch between layers.
  9. And a lot more in the editorial: plywood keyboard, a walnut one, handwired boards, chorded keyboard timing visualizer, new products (Cerakey homing caps), Norbalizers, etc.

As always, much more resources in my weekly editorial write-up, MK meetup calendar and keyboard shop database - with 500+ keyboard vendors!

Save some money

There are 152 keyboard shops accepting the KBDNEWS coupon code and offering you various discounts now. (And here are all the keyboard stores in the database.)
