Check out the new issue with awesome projects, tips and ideas!

Hey y'all,

Here are the posts I thought were worth sharing this week:

  1. As part of the Advent Calendar, ThereminGoat gave his take on the data he has collected with switches in the previous year.

  2. Peter Lyons reviewed results of over a dozen experimental DIY keyboard feature prototypes he has built within the Squeezebox R&D.

  3. Sharktastica looks back at some of the accomplishments and events of the last year.

  4. Christian Lo outlined his experimental projects and provided a behind the scenes look of his highlights of the year.

  5. A quick overview of Matt3o’s 10-years experience in the mechanical keyboard industry who also delved into future projects including a collaboration with GMK.

  6. Pete Johanson, creator/project lead of the ZMK firmware, offered some guidance for keyboard designers new to wireless designs.

  7. Thomas aka Chyrosran22 summed up how keyboards changed during the last fifty years and took a look at the explosion of innovations that have happened in the field over the last few years.

  8. New projects: LifeHackerMax published all the files necessary to build his LHM Morph modular platform.

  9. Pete Johanson's revxlp, mentioned in his post for the calendar, is a variant of the Reviung41 keyboard, but low profile, and supports controllers with the XIAO footprint.

  10. This pointed me to the revxlp by Cyril279, an earlier model inspired by the Reviung series, and designed for Choc switches.

  11. Jason Hazel's dust is an ultrathin sweep-alike split keyboard.

  12. Check out Keebsmas, an annual holiday charity event including Twitch streamers hosting giveaways and raising donations. This year for DIY Girls.

  13. A new open-source controller with tiny footprint: Epi by rallekralle11.

  14. A DIY dye sub keycap press by ericausome as inspiration: the Jankey Press 6000.
