dear newsletter subscribers,
hello! i hope you’re all doing well & having a nice spring!
my shop is currently open, and i have a bunch of new stickers, buttons, patches, totes, prints, etc etc etc! check it out here! it’ll be closing in a little over a week while i travel for some events, so if you have your eye on something, grab it soon!

events!!!
i’ve got a very busy next few weeks of events!
✶ tomorrow (sunday may 17th), i’ll be at the spring arts and crafts fair at nook cafe (bushwick, brooklyn, nyc; 10am - 4pm)
✶ saturday may 23 — junk drawer queer maker’s market @ yume (flatbush, brooklyn, nyc; 12 - 6pm)
✶ sunday may 31 — ithaca book and zine fair @ buffalo street books (ithaca, ny)
✶ sat/sun june 6 & 7 — toronto comic arts festival @ the mattamy athletic centre (toronto, canada)
come out and say hi! i’ll have a bunch of new stuff — the one i’m currently most excited about is these multi-pack of candy heart buttons i’ve been putting together today.
i’ll also have some new stickers — these in particular won’t be here in time for tomorrow’s market, but i’ve made stickers of some of the robins & batgirls! (i have pre-orders up for them in my shop currently, which will be sent out as soon as i receive them!)

a useful spreadsheet

in case it’s helpful for other people, i’ve published the spreadsheet template i’ve been using to track progress on affairs of the haunt. it keeps track of how many days there are until each deadline, how many pages you have finished or in-progress, & how many pages you should get done per day to stay on track! i’ve found it really useful, and maybe you will too.
you can grab it on my ko-fi shop for pay-what-you-want!
(i’m also hoping to tidy up my convention sales tracking sheets soon to publish too, so fingers crossed i have a chance to do that soon-ish.)
new art
same as last time: nearly all of the art i’ve been doing lately has been for affairs of the haunt. i’m nearly finished (about halfway done coloring it!) and so excited for everyone to read it next year. (out spring 2027 from andrews mcmeel!)
here’s sneak peeks at some of the colors:

one of my favorite things to do when drawing a comic is putting in little cameos of a bunch of my friends — so here’s some of those. (i may have put myself in it twice, just for funsies.)

plus a cameo of my besties’ cats:

recommendations corner
podcasts: no gods no mayors (a comedy/history podcast that talks about every single mayor that’s ever existed), party of one (a ttrpg actual-play podcast focusing on 2-person games), & the new season of grady hendrix’s super scary haunted homeschool, which is about haunted houses
movies: hey have you guys heard about batman. pretty good movies. my gf and i have been watching the nolan batman films since i’ve never seen them, and i’ve been having a lot of fun with them. (aforementioned gf just looked over at my laptop and went “you’re really kind to the nolan batman movies. i thought you would roast them more.” lmao. my standards for superhero movies are very low all i need is for them to be a fun time!)
comics: i’ve been actually going to the comic shop on new comic wednesdays to pick up the new absolute batman issues, a thing that i almost never do. but the robins just showed up and i’m soooo excited about it. comics don’t have to be ““good””” they just have to give my silly little guys giant mechs and i’ll be happy!!
nyc-specific recs: i went to the sort-of-new creative reuse store in industry city the other day and got soooo much fabric. it rules. also, if you’re in nyc and you like film (or general creative events), you should subscribe to film nyc, which is my girlfriend’s weekly newsletter of film events in nyc.
that’s all i have for y’all this time! i hope i see some of you at the events i have coming up! talk to you soon!
