happy DC zinefest & happy halloween!
DC Zinefest is this Saturday! Also: patreon stickers, gifts, and more!
Hello!
It’s been a while since I’ve written a newsletter, and I’d love to spend a couple paragraphs catching you guys up on everything I’ve been up to since… July? Was that really the last one? Whoops.
Currently, I’m writing during a brief break from the joint chaos of trying to finish sewing my halloween costume and prepare/pack for a convention before my train leaves tomorrow morning, so here’s the sparknotes: moved back to NYC (yay!), got covid almost immediately, laptop broke, phone/wallet got stolen, but my birthday is next week so hopefully I’ve gotten all the bad luck out of the way and it’ll be smooth sailing from here! (Fingers crossed.)
Onto the news part of the newsletter!
this saturday! zines! in dc!
DC Zinefest is this Saturday! I’ll be there! Come see me! I’ll have zines, stickers, prints, comics, and whatever other odds and ends I can scrounge up and fit in my suitcase.
november’s patreon stuff!
I doodled & risograph printed some stickers for November’s patreon mail! Join my patreon at the ouija board or spirit box tiers before Halloween & get three (3!!!) random stickers in the mail next month.
tis the season to get spooky
It’s Halloween time, which means it’s the appropriate season for me to shill my wares, in case anyone in your life wants a Halloween gift or you want to get going on grabbing some holiday gifts for someone who likes various spooky things.
On my Bonfire shop, you can find t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, and tote bags of various designs!
More of an art print person? Check out my inprnt store!
I’m approximately as behind on updating my website as I am on updating my newsletter, but a couple new things have gone up since we last spoke: A blog post about this year’s Flamecon (with a round-up of all the stuff I bought/traded for there) & a new collage zine, ghost girl glamour!
I’ll hopefully be writing again sooner rather than later — I definitely want to send out another newsletter before Thoughtbubble next month (which I’ll be tabling at! In England! I’ve never been to the UK before, so if anyone has recs for stuff around Harrogate, Leeds, York, or Edinburgh I’d love to hear em) & I’m hoping to get back to more frequent blog posts on my website as well.
For the time being, I need to get back to sewing my Marie Antoinette costume. (Probably an overly ambitious project considering I still haven’t taught myself how to use my sewing machine, but who am I if not someone who dives into overly ambitious projects head first at all times?) I’ll talk to you soon!
Happy Halloween!
