art market in nyc 🎁 (plus: a new book & a gift guide!)
Art market in Bushwick this Sunday! Last-minute gift guide! A new book announcement! Happy holidays, everyone!
Hello, dear newsletter subscribers!
I’ll be tabling at an art market at Nook, a cafe in Brooklyn, this Sunday from 10-4! I’ll have some of my usual assorted haunted wares, as well as some new holiday risograph printed postcards (scroll to the end of this email for a peek at those), new stickers, and copies of Witch’s Wings. If you’re in NYC, please come say hi!

book announcement!!!

Pretty much immediately after I sent out my last newsletter, the book I’m working on got announced! Look out for horror-romance graphic novel Affairs of the Haunt by me & Jordan Alsaqa in Spring 2027!!
holiday gift guide!
One of the best gifts you can give during the holidays is supporting small artists! Conveniently, I have a bunch of ways you can do that. Don’t cross picket lines by ordering from Amazon (Amazon’s NY warehouses just voted to authorize a strike) — shop small!
My Bonfire store has t-shirts (and sweatshirts and tote bags and mugs)!

My Inprnt has tons of art prints!

Until the end of December, every member of my Patreon also gets 15% off in both of those shops — join & get that discount code here!
art!

As promised at the top of this email: new holiday postcards! Riso printed in green/fluorescent pink & blue/fluorescent pink respectively.

While I had the pink & green ink out, it seemed like a waste not to print something for the iconic pink/green couple. (I haven’t seen the Wicked movie yet, but I like the musical a lot!!)

A gothic horror illustration/sticker sheet for my Patreon’s December mail! (Patrons can catch a timelapse process video of this one here!)

I also riso printed some big 2025 calendars!

Some new albums I’ve been listening to on repeat: Seed of a Seed by Haley Heynderickx & Mirror Starts Moving Without Me by Pom Pom Squad
I went to see Dungeons & Dragons: Twenty Sided Tavern last weekend with Erika Ishii in it and it was delightful
This Bluesky thread by Scott McCloud has a bunch of examples of cool digital comics I enjoyed scrolling through
Don’t forget to covid test before & after holiday gatherings, especially if you’re going to be around a lot of people! & get your updated vaccines asap (especially if you’re in the US, since who knows if they’ll still be available in a few months). Stay safe!
Happy holidays everyone! Talk to you next year!
