New Harlequin imprint: Afterglow Books!
Happy(?) July! It's too hot and a storm dumped a giant tree branch on my fence and I'm grumpy about it (listen, not all of us are fans of summer), but I do have a little quick news...
Harlequin announced their new "sexy contemporary line" the other day, properly called Afterglow Books, and I'm thrilled to say that my as-yet untitled HORSE BOOK 🐴 will be part of that line! Afterglow will offer two books per month, and if the ever-changing sands of publishing continue to go the way they're currently going, my upcoming book will appear in late 2024.
Meanwhile, reminder that yonder horse book—my take on the "horse girl" books I read growing up, but with kissing and romance and sex—will include:
✨ Another grumpy newly-retired athlete hero, I just can't quit them.
✨ A super-competent barn manager heroine who will get the job done NO MATTER WHAT.
✨ A quirky and fun cast of secondary characters.
✨ Found family.
✨ An unbothered stallion who really loves his snacks.
✨ SO MANY HORSES!
