Upcoming events:
Small Press Expo (SPX), Sept 14th-15th
I’ll be at table W28B by the back wall. Come find me! It’s my first time ever at SPX and I’ll be losing my mind!! I made a special new display for my poster-sized comic Patience, which hopefully will entice people to visit my table.
St. Louis Small Press Expo (SLICE), Oct 26th
I was at the inaugural SLICE last year and it was my favorite expo I’ve ever done. Just a spectacular vibe and a Goldilocks-perfect size in an extremely cool city that I frequently consider relocating to. I’m SO excited to be tabling again this year! Table number to come.
New comics:
I’ll be debuting a collection of my madcap short comics at SPX. It’s called Whoopsie Doodle and includes brand-new work as well as some old favorites like Game Night with Croc and Fuss.
And after a year of grinding, I’ve finally finished all the thumbnails for my graphic novel More Things in Heaven and Earth and am back to making new pages. It was a long way to get here, including several hundred pages of wrong turns, and I’m excited to have a solid roadmap for the rest of the book. I might even finish issue 5 in time for SLICE… we’ll see…
Online shop stuff:
I set up online shops where you can buy my minicomics or commission me to draw your dog/your OC/your OC’s kitchen/your OC’s dog’s custom made-up full achievement+coat of arms. Also I made a Gumroad for FREE STUFF! Right now it’s just a brushpack—all the Procreate brushes I used to make Another Blasted Cave—but I’ll be brainstorming more free stuff for the future.
