Last summer, I hit a wall. I was struggling to come up with anything to say.
Don’t get me wrong. I knew I had things to say and I know what I have to say can help businesses. But I was totally uninspired.
Has that ever happened to you?
I’ve even written about writer’s block to share ideas to get past it. This went beyond writer’s block, though.
It took some effort but eventually, I figured out that I didn’t know what I wanted, much less how to get there!
Basically, I was the cobbler whose children had no shoes. (Except I was the marketer with no plan.) 🤦🏼♀️
So, I started going over the wall by setting my content goals.
Then I decided how often I could realistically maintain different content activities long term.
I’ll admit I was a little unsure I could stick to my conservative schedule. My well of ideas and inspiration had dried up like a desert.
But it was the third step that made it all click.
I created a system that included setting up a content inventory. (The one I’m sharing in my upcoming workshop.)
It’s been so good but I’ll be honest with you, <fname>, when I’m busy working in my business, it gets hard to keep up.
Sometimes I get stuck...again.
