| Let me repeat that...boring, complicated, and maybe won't work. These words are not motivating, are they?
That’s some of the sentiment in my Facebook group from members when I asked them to share their gut reaction to the idea of creating and using marketing systems and processes.
I’ll be honest with you, %FIRSTNAME%, I wasn’t at all surprised by the answers I got.
I’ve felt the same way before. Many times.
And every time I know I need to document a process, I put it off as long as I can because I’d almost rather go to the dentist...almost. (Hello, dental anxiety that makes processes more fun.)
Let me tell you about me a year ago. I went full-time in my business in January 2020. I had grand plans for taking all the process and system knowledge and experience I had to build a business that runs like a well-oiled machine.
And, of course, marketing was the most important starting place because I needed clients! I wanted to be visible and find my people and help them change the marketing for their business. I’m a content marketer at heart, so I started with content. I wrote a blog post in January. Then I got sick for most of February. I published another blog post in March and another in May.
Five months and just three pieces of content with no process or plan or goals. I wasn’t promoting my expertise or my business pretty much anywhere.
I knew I needed to get past the boring, complicated, maybe won't work roadblock so I could grow.
That’s when my Groovy Get-it-Done and Have Fun Content (GGIDAHFC) system was born!
%FIRSTNAME%, for nearly a year, I’ve been using this tool to keep track of the content I have, collect ideas for new content, and identify gaps where I need content. I also use it to make sure all my content stays focused on my key messages (so I’m not wasting my time or yours).
How does it all work?
It’s not a secret, but I want to give you a copy of my system and introduce you to my content process so you, too, can 💃 Find Your Content Groove! 💃
I was on a call with a client a while back and showed her my GGIDAHFC system. Her response was so perfect—she told me just looking at it made her feel calm. This, along with my Facebook group members, helped inspire me to create this workshop.
That’s what I want for everyone who takes this workshop. Whether you use the system or create your own, I want you to get ideas and have AHA moments that help you figure out what’s going to work for you in your business.
So, are you in?
I’d love to see you there. I give you my pinky promise, I won’t be boring. Karen
PS - You got to the end, so here’s a silly picture of me pointing at the email you just read...not boring at all, right? 😉 |
