The province wants uniform conduct rules for every municipal council in BC — and Kamloops is the cautionary tale. Municipal Affairs Minister Christine Boyle introduced legislation Thursday that would create a mandatory code of conduct for all councils, with sanctions ranging from a letter of reprimand up to a 90-day suspension.
