to reset my mind

finishing work on friday afternoon and doing a quick string of bong hits to reset my mind and heading south in the sunshine on our way to meet our friends for korean barbecue listening to "off the record" by IVE, a last splash of sunshine before fall fully sets in and ec showing off the soju cooling frog she bought and all of us eating too much.

talking with deborah about what are the first GUTS songs we'll do at karaoke ("love is embarrassing" for her, "vampire" for me). thinking about people who have one "go to" song for karaoke and how the idea of limiting myself to one song every time is unimaginable (but there are many paths).

took another great picture of deborah in her rainbow heart sunglasses as we waited outside ktown. my tips for being a great portraitist (which i am) which are create a playful environment (my general rule for all aspects of life!), take ten million shots, and (tip i learned from a designer at work) never fully center people but instead put them off to one side or the other of the frame.
