I am thankful for regaining my sense of smell and taste after losing it for two years. There was a psychosomatic component that ultimately resulted in a spiritual awakening that has been unlike anything that I have ever experienced. It was almost as if I was being experienced. The psyche is ultimately unfathomable just as the night sky is. To have felt the eternal within the finite world of the daily round is a metanoia that I treasure. Thankful and grateful I have become a little more humble.
