it is possible, it really can happen
when i got to the doctor's office right when they opened at 8 this morning (i had to fast before bloodwork) they asked me for my phone number and i literally could not remember my own phone number and had to look it up on my phone (after looking up how to look it up on my phone)
i was wearing my old lana del rey t-shirt with a stain on it and the phlebotomist complimented me on it and then we were talking about lana as she got ready to put the needle in and there was a lull and to make conversation i brought up that lana / skims collab and let me tell you who is not a kim kardashian fan (it's the phlebotomist!)
the first thing i had to work on this morning was a bug with timezones which is one of the most annoying kinds of bugs and i thought i solved it but my coworker showed me how i didn't really (i just solved it for a particular range of timestamps) and then he figured out how to solve it as he always does (without ever making me feel inadequate—i truly am grateful for his brilliance) and i pushed out a fix
deborah made this recipe for gochugaru salmon with crispy rice with a side of smacked cucumber with sesame and vinegar and it was so good immediately enters the rotation (double the gochugaru sauce and also a bit more fish too imo). while she was cooking i played clips from a gordon ramsay soundboard on my phone.
the instagram accounts hippyjumpeverything, which is just video of different variations on the hippy jump, a skateboard trick where you're skating and you jump off the board and it continues to roll forward and you fly over some obstacle and then land on the board again and keep skating forward. the videos always seem impossible as you watch them and yet at the same time as videos they are evidence to the contrary, that it is possible, it really can happen
