improvising these immaculate electric piano parts

before our disney+ subscription (which we weren't really using) elapsed on september 19, though i didn't finish a complete cycle of once again rewatching get back for the hundredth time, i did get to my favorite part (small clip), which is in the middle of the second episode when the boys are really spinning their wheels and feeling like they need another instrument to fill out their live sound and then their old friend from hamburg, billy preston (who is so cute and has the most beautiful smile in addition to being a stunning keyboard player), visits the studio and sits in on the jam and immediately starts improvising these immaculate electric piano parts that glue the songs together and everyone is so immediately energized with possibility and camaraderie, giddy, almost skipping to the control room to hear the take they just recorded.

for dinner this week we've been having a classic of our repertoire which is a pairing of the lady's cheesy mac (a sturdy, architectural mac and cheese) with roasted brussels sprouts, with the key being an old food 52 article borrowing a momofuku recipe describing putting prik nam pla on roasted brussels sprouts, which is great (although the sauce ingredient proportions in the article feel off—like almost everything i make, i definitely freestyle it to taste and also increase the volume of the recipe) and which we realized, while revelatory on brussels sprouts (especially with a little cilantro and mint) is also a really great sauce for the mac and cheese (and honestly almost everything i have also put it for ex. on a ham sandwich).
