i'm thankful that last night we watched bird box, which we had somehow never watched despite it being the kind of movie we watch when we can't decide to watch but feel like we should watch a movie because it's a weekend night and that feels like the space imo it was perfectly fine for that purpose and d was reading about it afterward and read that in one cut they actually showed what the monster looks like in CG but then sandra bullock was watching it and couldn't stop laughing so they cut it.
i'm thankful that d made raspberry ricotta cake for the second time this week and we had extra large slices because it's saturday.

i'm thankful that though i have consistently for the past like seven months been eating oatmeal with dried cherries and a large spoonful of tart cherry jam for breakfast every morning and that has been a satisfying hearty breakfast that has provided me with the energy i need and not some kind of conceptual art ritual thing, it's finally summer and i also do love cold cereal with fresh fruit in the summer and i am trying to embrace change in my life lately so i should do that.
i'm thankful that in our group chat with ec we had been sharing dall-e-mini things back and forth and ec shared one she did of "green m&m at the birth of christ" which disappointedly didn't include a baby jesus, leading d to speculate that the green m&m had eaten baby jesus and that let me share that i had said in a meeting the previous day that our beloved polish backend engineers were out of office for the festival of corpus christi except i said "crispy" and one of my coworkers said that sounded like a KFC menu item and i said back what if a church where communion wafers were made of rice krispies seems like it would be popular and anyway i had to then make the AI make "green m&m crucifixion" and while it was running (i'm thankful for the way the delay for the model to run, amid a web that is built to be always as instantaneous as possible) adds a certain kind of anticipation and investment) i put a screenshot of the prompt with the loading spinner and she said omg because it turned out she was doing the same thing at the same time.
i'm thankful for sarah and darcie having french fries together.
