waking up on a saturday morning, eating breakfast, getting very stoned, playing music, having sex, and falling asleep again
this "rising crust" digiorno frozen pizza d picked at the supermarket, which has a crust that does not seem like pizza crust or another normal form of bread but is some kind of weird synthetic other substance but despite that sounding unappetizing i do in fact enjoy it and plan to get another one to stick in the freezer today
that though our freezer is small, we do have one, after hearing from a coworker about a long saga with her landlord replacing her broken fridge that meant she relied on a mini-fridge in her apartment and then kept her produce in her car since it's cool enough (v. clever workaround)
on a call with another coworker whose young daughter interrupted to ask if she could have a sandwich and coworker saying that the bread was frozen and the daughter deciding that she could make a toasted sandwich (v. clever workaround!)
i tried
geforce now as a way to experiment with playing some PC games i've heard are great (
monster train and
disco elysium) without having a PC and it works pretty darn well so far, despite us having somewhat spotty wifi.
miso couldn't seem to keep down food on thursday, which was sad (she loves eating so much) and also disgusting (i have not had to pick up vomit in a while) but deborah made her jook for her meals for a few days and we stopped giving her treats and she's fine now
this egg sando recipe that c shared

after watching several episodes of the heaven's gate documentary on hbo max (entertaining and really an interesting look at a cult that doesn't have the same kind of obvious secret sex/power dynamics of nexium scientology etc. (though it definitely has many fucked up dynamics of its own!)). reading
this book about jonestown, which sometimes feels like it might lean a little hard on the "creative" in creative nonfiction but it is (maybe because of that) entertaining.
new season of
dickinson started a little flat but i loved the first season so much that i'm hopeful it will pick up. watched the beginning of
mad max:fury road for the nth time—still good, but i couldn't get it up to actually watch the whole movie. kh texted me about having started reading
grown ups, which i had recommended, and enjoying it.
sunday scaries intensity is way way lower than last weekend!
i like writing titles for these notes after titling them with the date for so long
