i'm thankful that tonight i had a really quite wonderful chat w my brother e that was meaningful (to both of us i think). i'm thankful that we are on a similar page intellectually/religiously/socially which means that we were able to each understand what the other was saying. i'm thankful that the shitty situation of our parents has only driven us closer. i'm thankful that we're not afflicted by social taboos which means that for us no topic is off limits. i'm thankful that we discussed marriage and n. i'm thankful that i know my brother is a good person and that he's not going to judge me for what i say. i'm thankful that my brother knows how to critique my ideas without being patronising or making me feel like his younger brother. i'm thankful that i'm even able to remain this close to brother even when we are so far apart from each other geographically. i'm thankful that i know that my brother and i will remain this close in the future. i'm thankful for my family
