• i don’t have the three examples required for a trend story yet but but over the weekend i encountered two new aural representations of women getting waxed for the first time. 1) Erykah Badu’s skit on “Love Me Not” from her new album 2) a field recording in Mackenzie Thomas’s latest newsletter (which also has lots of other important observations like “Mini cereal boxes used to be abundant in my youth, and now they are nowhere” and “I wonder often what party photographers’ dreams are like”)

• new Nathan Fielder and John Wilson movies both coming out in the next couple months is my football season (on a similar vibe I’ve also been laughing my way through Nirvanna The Band The Show (Hulu) which i’d never seen and is as delightful as rumored)

• Monday morning song i bet you’ll be singing along to after a couple of spins: “White Noise” by Holly Humberstone, kind of like sad-girl “Murder on the Dancefloor” / “Dancing on my Own” vibes
