i'm thankful to have slept 10 hours last night. i'm thankful that even though i am still tired, i didn't have to travel internationally, as many of my coworkers did (i'm thankful, opening my computer this morning, to have seen the message "time doesn't exist" from one of them).
i'm thankful to have not put pressure on myself to write detailed notes while i was at the company retreat last week. i'm thankful that though i wish i had those notes, since there were so many wonderful moments that i had with people i care about and i don't want to forget them, if i had taken the time to step away and write them down, i might not have experienced them in the first place, so i'm thankful not to have written them down.
i'm thankful that yesterday afternoon d picked me up from the airport shuttle stop at the holiday inn north of town. i'm thankful that last night we got pizza from our favorite local pizza place, which is always slow for delivery but is also always worth it for the taste. i'm thankful we have leftovers for lunch today.
