i'm thankful that for dessert last night i had two frozen waffles with lots of butter and pancake syrup. i'm thankful for the way that melted butter and syrup soak into the structure of a frozen waffle, degrading it into something soggy and moist, which i prefer to the structural integrity of a real waffle, even though i know that probably nobody agrees with me on that. i'm thankful to have discovered that the syrup dispenser has a face.
i'm thankful for this "supercut" video. i'm thankful for this animated model of falling snow melting. i'm thankful that nobody has ever slapped me with kimchi. i'm thankful for weird internet projects, like this person who has collected hundreds of videos of people laughing in a particular way in anime. i'm thankful that d gave me her texture login so i could read the new yorker but then i just ended up reading cosmo, which, being cosmo, had a lot of dumb but entertaining stuff in it. i'm thankful that there is a whole feature called "can you not" which is just people complaining about small things they find annoying.
i'm thankful that it is friday, since this week has been very long. i'm thankful that though it has been raining all the time, which has been depressing, and though it is going to continue to rain this weekend, it will eventually stop raining and hopefully all the rain will mean nicer flowers and grass when spring finally kicks in, which is going to happen, even if it doesn't quite feel like it yet.
