i'm thankful that d ordered two mugs yesterday and when she told me this and started unpacking them, i did an arnold schwarzenegger voice and said "it's not a two mug," making myself laugh very hard. i'm thankful that she also laughed after i explained the joke, which is a great quality of hers as i am very emotionally needy when it comes to laughter.
i'm thankful that two of my favorite people at work who i had thought were dating for a while but wasn't sure about turned out to have indeed been dating (and to still be dating), which one of them confirmed to me in a DM yesterday, which made me extremely happy. i'm thankful for how wonderful each of them is individually and i'm thankful that to imagine how happy they make each other together.
i'm thankful that last night rather than do a project for work i did a project for my friends. i'm thankful for the node fs module and for fetch. i'm thankful for small scopes. i'm thankful for the song "past lives" by BØRNS, which d was listening to from across the house last night while i was foam rolling and which i could tell was a great song even from such a distance. i'm thankful that i texted her to find out what it was and because her phone was connected to the speakers, i heard the chime of my message mute the music. i'm thankful to have been disappointed, then happy when it came back in full force a few seconds later.
