i'm thankful that though i stayed up later than i have in years to finish a presentation the other night, i was happy with the way it turned out.
i'm thankful that my team went kayaking and though it was cold, i felt very at peace. i'm thankful for the micro-adjustments you have to make to stay in the same place, since the current is always moving you.
i'm thankful that though i spilled my beer on a conference table, it didn't really matter. i'm thankful for low country boils. i'm thankful for tiramisu.
i'm thankful, since some of my favorite coworkers here are people who live on the other side of the world and who i don't actually "work with" on a regular basis, to get to spend quality time with them.
i'm thankful to work with people with whom i can be my whole self.
