i'm thankful that though it sucks i could not get today off of work, maybe there is something good about going back to work for one day after being on vacation and then it being the weekend again, a way of immersing myself back into my normal life but then getting an immediate break.
i'm thankful for this major key version of "smells like teen spirit."
i'm thankful that though i couldn't get into poison season, which led me to forget about ken, i finally listened to ken when i couldn't get cell signal on the shuttle last night because it was saved on my phone and ken is great.
i'm thankful for john ashberry's last poem and for this fragment of emily dickinson. i'm thankful for the reluctance to take down christmas ornaments.
i'm thankful for this dog who likes to sled.
