i'm thankful since this was a six day week that has felt endless that it is actually finally friday. i'm thankful i don't have any meetings today and have a little bandwidth thanks to the general holiday downshift to do some exploratory coding on a fun project that i've had in my head for a while but haven't had the time to try.

i'm thankful for k's delicate piano playing.

i'm thankful for arrested development, which we started rewatching from the beginning last night and which is as great as i remember it being. i'm thankful for how they really use the "coming up next time" section in a more expressive and clever way than any comedy.

i'm thankful that we had my favorite lazy dinner last night, which involves shredding kale until it fills a large bowl (shred more than you think you need, since it will compress; the bowl should be overflowing, basically), massaging it with some olive oil and salt, dumping some frozen chicken nuggets on top, microwaving it for four minutes, and dousing it with some hot sauce (ketchup for d).

i'm thankful for only two more workdays till vacation.
